Program (Strategy) Fellow (Fall 2025)
AMP Global Youth was founded by students eager to take action around global issues. Through training programs and campaigns, we amplify the voice and power of global youth. Our programs are growing quickly, and we’re seeking Program Fellows to help take us to the next level.
The Programs Fellow plays a key role in helping lead and execute our programs beyond Global Scholar. Tasks will include:organizing the Power Up Conferences (finding speakers, organizing the event logistics, finding participants); offer resources for the AMP Clubs and help build their agenda; monitor issues for our network, and create primers on key issues; help ID speakers for Global Scholar each year; and more.
The Programs Fellow will play an essential hands-on role in the next phase of our growth, helping grow our programs. This is a great position for a student or AMP alumni, and as such extensive professional experience is definitely not required. We will help teach you what you need to know, and work as a team to complete assignments.
This is a 2 hour/week position, with fixed recurring hours each week, for five months. Fellows also join a bi-weekly coordinating call with their team and student leadership.
Specific Fellowship roles on this team include:
- AMP Clubs. Support AMP Clubs, including developing monthly programming, leading social events, and supporting quarterly projects like the State of Global Youth Report, the Power Up Conference, and more. This would include writing program guides, staying in touch with clubs, developing new activities, and more.
- Issue Leads choose and monitor key issues for the AMP community, so we can ensure students are updated and engaged.
- Power Up Winter Conference. The Fellow will help us plan, organize and lead our annual winter conference, ther Power Up.
- State of Global Youth Report Team: This position supports the research, analysis, writing and launch of our annual youth-led State of Global Youth Report.
- Sound Off Essay Contest: This position supports the promotion and process for our annual essay contest, which invites youth to share reflections on a current issue.
What you’ll bring:
AMP Fellows are confident communicators; enthusiastic about leadership development, social change, and advocacy; passionate about global issues facing our generation; and dedicated to collaboration with fellow team-members. The successful applicant has some proven experience with messaging, content creation, and/or outreach. Hard skills around graphic design or video development aren’t required, but you should have a strong eye for messaging and approaches that work with youth. We are a virtual organization, so Fellows must be self-starters and reliable too.

This is a 2 hours/week position, starting in August. Candidates should be comfortable working in English, on Eastern Standard Time, and have reliable technology and internet to complete their work. Fellows must be available to work a recurring fixed schedule.

Community Building Fellow (Fall 2025)
AMP Global Youth was founded by students eager to take action around global issues. Through training programs and campaigns, we amplify the voice and power of global youth. Our programs are growing quickly, and we’re seeking Community Building Fellows to help take us to the next level.
The Community Building Fellow plays a key role in helping draft and execute our marketing strategy, in particular focusing on our Global Scholar programs. Tasks will include: identifying and engaging key audiences and prospects; crafting and developing engaging content for social media and email; supporting time-bound campaigns around AMP special projects; supporting the evolution of our brand identity; and more.
The Community Building Fellow will play an essential hands-on role in the next phase of our growth, helping grow our brand and programs. This is a great position for a student or AMP alumni, and as such extensive professional experience is definitely not required. We will help teach you what you need to know, and work as a team to complete assignments.
This is a 2 hour/week position, with fixed recurring hours each week for five months. Fellows also join a bi-weekly coordinating call with their team and student leadership.

- Social Media Team: The team leads our presence on Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok, posting content that achieves our mission of amplifying the story and voice of global youth.
- Alumni Team: Leads alumni engagement through events, coaching, fundraising, and communications; manages LinkedIn and directory; curates updates, opportunities, and reports to strengthen community and support Global Scholar programs.
- Outreach and Partnerships Team: Leads efforts to achieve a 20% annual network growth by creating shareable content, engaging on social media, and identifying partnerships to expand reach, boost visibility, and support fundraising and scholarship efforts.
- Global Opportunities Team: Manages and curates youth opportunity directory; updates website, shares highlights on social media, and selects top opportunities for the newsletter to inform and empower our global community.
