Greetings, from the AMP Global Youth Team —

Big things are happening at AMP Global Youth! Scroll down for exciting updates on our Global Scholar summer program, the upcoming Power Up Conference, new volunteer opportunities, and other ways young leaders (and youth allies) can get involved. Thanks for being part of our growing network — and for helping us amplify youth voices around the world. Please read and share!

1. Join us for the Power Up! Virtual Youth Conference on: Restoring Trust: Fractures and Opportunities for Youth
Join us on Saturday, February 7 for the Power Up Conference, where AMP’s student leadership will share key findings from the latest State of Global Youth Report. This year’s Report explores how young people understand and experience trust, and opportunities for building trust with peers, educators, elected officials, and more. Led by youth researchers in the US, Syria, Russia, Brazil and beyond, and developed in response to rising political polarization, declining trust in institutions, and growing social fragmentation, this report centers youth perspectives at a moment when they are urgently needed. 3. Nominate a Global Youth Visionary!

Are you a visionary youth leader with experience to share, or do you know one? AMP Global Youth is accepting nominations for 2026 Global Youth Visionaries who exemplify the creative, bold and visionary leadership of youth tackling our greatest global challenges. Visionaries can be leaders, artists, entrepreneurs, mobilizers, organizers, or anyone else doing work that inspires or uplifts the power of youth. This year, we are seeking Global Youth Visionaries focusing on:

  • Building trust and connections in their school or community
  • Building youth participation in government, school systems, and the media

Visionaries will receive $100 for their work, be featured on the AMP Global Youth website and social media, and share their experience directly with our youth network via the Power Up Conference on Feb 7, 2026. They should represent youth, but there are no lower or upper age limits. Nominations are open until Feb 1, 2026. Nominate yourself or someone who inspires you here.
